History:
Jaxon Juno was born as Marcus Ainsley in Kensington of Philadelphia, PA. He was the youngest five and had three older brothers and an older sister. His father was a police officer and worked hard to support his family.
Jaxon's mother had powers which she had hidden from the children for years. Only her husband knew of this, that is, until Jaxon started to develope powers of his own. He was the only one out of all his siblings.
He had been a small, scrawny boy. The kind of boy that was picked on by the other kids. He had two best friends as a child. One, was his dog, Keebler, a labrador. The other, was his older sister who was closest to him in age. He had a few other friends, but not many. Those that he had faded with time anyway.
Jaxon learned to cook from his mother and his grandmother and besides his sister, seemed to be the only one interested in what their parents had to pass on to him and his siblings. When his father had time, he would take the kids all out to the vacant lot for a game of baseball. They were a close family.
Then, when Jax was ten years old, the news came. It had been late at night and he had been sitting by the window in the room he shared with one of his brothers. He remembered it clearly as it had been raining and he could hear his brother's snores behind him. A police car pulled up outside the house. Jax was waiting for his father to come home and was confused to see two people coming out of the cop car, wearing their rain ponchos. He couldn't make out who the people were as it was too dark and hard to see through the rain.
The knock on the door came and Jax listened carefully as he heard his mother's footsteps downstairs and then saw light spill out onto the stoop as she opened the door. It was only a few moments until the officers left. The door closed again and he couls hear the sound of his mother and grandmother weeping downstairs. His father had been shot while on duty.
Jaxon had always wanted to be just like his father. He had idolized him and looked up to him like none of the other kids had. He had always wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and the event of his father's death only intensified this. Jax became depressed however and seemed to be going in the opposite direction. He swore he would one day find his father's killer.
He was sent to Valora Academy at the age of fourteen instead of going to the local high school like the rest of his siblings. Still, none of them knew of his abilities. He excelled and did wonderfully in school as he always had. After all, he didn't want to disappoint his mother. He graduated with honors.
After graduation, Jax seemed to be getting a hold of himself. He was never really happy though. He started training as a police officer, which, after years of attending Valora Academy had been a breeze. He only used his powers in the most dire circumstances though. With his skills, Jax was promoted. Again, and again, and again. There wasn't a job Jax had a problem with. Eventually, he changed his name, having never liked his birth name.
He did everything from making his way through the police forces to being a detective, guarding the President of the US in one case and has been in the FBI and many other related occupations as well, always excelling. He had done more than follow in his father's footsteps. He had surpassed them. No matter how much Jax succeeded however, he was never truly happy.
