Welcome to Equivio City, located in the outskirts of the United States. The year is 2175. You may have noticed that strange things have been happening lately. Many of us have been noticing that some people have tails, or large catlike ears, or weird eyes. Some say that these creatures are called "shape shifters" or "shifters" for short. Some even believe that they can change into whatever animal they desire. Well, guess what? All of that is true -- in fact, we, the FBI, were the ones that created these mysterious beings. Our job is to keep watch over these genetically altered humans and make sure that they can assimilate into society correctly.
We began this project as a simple test to see if we could combine the DNA of an animal with the DNA of a human. Our first subject was a complete success, so we continued to create these creatures, each one more powerful than the last. They will be used as biological weapons in times of war, but for now, they are only to stay in the city of Equivio and try their best to blend in with today's society.
We have already begun our most powerful project; the Legendary Shifters, shifters that can morph into creatures that are only existant in fairytales. They will be the most powerful of all shifters, but even their powers will be limited by their ability to endure great pain while using them...
