It was late afternoon and it snowing, but very lightly. Danielle Isaiah was out at the park walking her dog, Duke. Duke was a German and a well behaved dog. He stayed by Dani's side, on a leash. He wasn't the kind of dog who needed to be on a leash, but Dani had him on one that day anyway, just in case.
Dani was wearing a pair of tight jeans with a pair of black snow boots. Her dark hair was down and curly and she wore an orange long sleeved shirt that showed her shoulders with a white tank top beneath it. She wore a black, somewhat faded leather coat over this to keep her warm. It fit her better now then it did when she had gotten it as a little girl.
Duke had on a black spiked collar and his leash was black as well. His ears flapped a little as he trotted along, his tail swishing happily from side to side. Dani smiled at him. He was a bit of a goofy dog sometimes.
Deciding to take a break, Dani sat down on a nearby bench, brushing the snow off first. Duke sat down on the ground beside her and put his head on her lap, looking up at her with those big puppy like eyes. She sighed and scratched behind his ears, looking around at the park around them.

Chase was out in the park, thinking about the recent events that had happened in the past six months. His head was in the clouds, his friend was now a werewolf and his sister was a vampire. Not to mention both of them were gone off on their own thing. He shook his head, his hair colored black and blue through out and covered with snow. He stuck his hands in the front pocket of his black sweatshirt. His jeans were wet from the middle of his calf down and you really couldn't see his sneakers that he was wearing.
He got on the path and just kept walking with his head down and the deep brown eyes having a far away look. He never noticed the girl and her dog as he approached the bench. Suddenly he stepped on a patch of ice and fell face first into the pavement. He pulled his hands out from the pocket. "Fuck!" He didn't move and just laid there seeming to be dead beside the fact that he was breathing.

Dani saw the guy as he fell and practically jumped to her feet. "Oh my god," she said, going over to him in a bit of a rush. "Are you alright?" She slipped a little on the ice as she went to kneel beside the guy, but she was able to keep her bearings. Duke barked and followed behind her, sniffing the dude's head. "Duke, back off. Give him some space," she said to the dog, shaking her head. He sat beside her, his tail wagging back and forth slowly in the snow, his tongue lolling from his mouth as he panted a little. "Are you hurt?" she asked the guy. "Do you need a doctor? Can you move? Speak? ...Anything?" She was probably asking a lot of questions, but she got a little worried like this every once in a while.

Chase jumped slightly at the sound of someone else there, it snapped him out of his foggy trance. He slowly picked himself up so that he was on his hands and knees with blood was flowing from his nose, mouth and a bump on his forehead. "Um...I don't know." He sat up and felt a warm sticky substance flowing down the side of his face and chin. He looked at her and then pulled his sweatshirt over his head, revealing his black t-shirt. "Sorry..." He didn't say anymore as he pulled it over his head. Sure it was cold out, but his t-shirt wasn't as warm as his sweatshirt. He balled up the shirt and pressed it to his forehead, just above his left eye. He wiped the rest of the blood of his face and pulled the sweatshirt back over his head. "Um...thanks..." Chase didn't know what to say as he held the sweatshirt to his forehead, not realizing his nose was bleeding into his mouth.

Dani made a slight face, a little worried still. "Your nose is bleeding kinda badly," she said to him, sticking by to make sure he was alright. "Do you need help?" Duke whined lightly, seemingly worried as well. "Should I go get someone? You don't have amnesia or anything do you? Can you remember your name?" She tilted her head a little to the side, cocking a brow.

"What? Oh!" Chase shrugged his shoulders. "Nope I know who I am, the name is Chase. Chase O'Riley, I'd say at your service but I think that is out of the question." He took the t-shirt off his head and touched the wound. It hurt but he didn't show it and it didn't bother him. He wiped off the lower part of his face and pinched his nose. Now that was overly tender but he didn't care. "I might have broken it again." His voice sounded dull as he was holding his nose shut. He looked around again and noticed the dog, "Duke you said right?" He nodded toward the dog, "He seems loyal, not like many dogs I've seen before."

Dani was at least happy to hear that this guy didn't have memory loss, or at least, not very bad. She looked over at Duke as Chase indicated to him and nodded. "Yeah," she said, smiling a little and scratching behind Duke's ear. He tilted his head, liking the feel. "My name's Danielle," Dani said, standing up and brushing snow off of her clothes before offering a helping hand to the guy. "People call me Dani though."

Chase smiled, "Nice to meet you in such odd circumstances." He tried to wrinkle his face, but holding his nose wouldn't allow it. Seeing her get up, and offer him a hand he started thinking about getting up but declined. "I think I'll stay down just a little bit longer. My bearings are still a little fuzzy." He leaned back onto his one hand feeling the cold ice beneath him more now.

Max came walking down the path alongside the park, it hadn't been cleared so the snow covered his shoes. A dog panted beside him, Sophie. She was a white husky, he and Aly picked her out when they were together, once she left, Max took the dog over. he couldn't give her up. Sophie's ears shot forward and her ice blue eyes found a play mate. Max didn't have her on a leash, she was usually good with staying by him. Max looked up when he heard her stop. "What's the matter girl?" he asked and then he spotted two people with a dog. Before Max could grab the huskies chain collar she took off full speed at the other dog, her tail wagging and her ears laid back in a curious matter....
Max rolled his eyes and jogged after her, being careful not to use his powers outside the school, just incase these people were normal. "SOPHIE!" he said waving. He slowly came to a stop, cocking his head as he saw Dani. "Hey... didn't expect to see you around." He said with a quick laugh. He grabbed his dog's collar before she angered the German Shepard she was trying to play with. He looked down at the guy, his brow cocking. "I hope you didn't punch the guy Dani... You alright?" he asked the guy....
