Max had been wandering, Jazz was safe with his mother. Cara took Jazz for acouple of days now, she said he needed a break. Max had been out in the woods since 5 in the morning. It was later in the afternoon and he hadn't done shit.....
He had a black beater and blue jeans on with his boots and a hat pulled tight over his head. His hazel eyes were bright under the shadow casted by his hat, but they weren't bright in a happy way. Things buzzed in his brain, wether it was about Leon, Ali and now even his horse Ghost. It had been months since that accident, Ghost nor Oriana came home. Max was pissed....
He wasn't to far into the woods, about an hour walk back to the school, but he sat by a stream. His back was against a tall oak, his one leg straight out and the other up almost to his chest. His chest rose up and down slowly. It was peaceful, no noise except the birds chirping and the brushing of the leaves against eachother when the breeze blew. Max gave a slight sigh and let his eyes close, he pulled his hat over his eyes abit...
He was half asleep when he heard twigs snapping not to far away. He froze and didn't move. He opened his eyes and stared.... nothing. He breathed out slowly, he was worrying to much. His eyes closed... another snap... then another and another... coming closer. Max almost growled. He opened his eyes once again. Something was behind the tree's from across the shallow stream. It wasn't small.....
Max stared deeper, his mind powers ready. A almost deer-like figure pushed through the tree and brush to walk to the stream. It's hooves clicked on the river stones and Max's eyes widened instantly. "How the hell did you end up back here?" Max shook his head in pure amazement as his throughbred stallion Ghost stood across the shallow stream, his head down, drinking heavily from the stream. Sure the horse was skinnier and had mud covering him from the legs to his underbelly. He had thickets in his mane and tail, but this was his horse. He was sure from the piercing blue eyes. He stood up slowly and then Ghost's head shot up and the horse bellowed out a huge neigh of welcome. He trotted across the shallow stream and came right up to Max. Ghost's halter still hung around his head, dirty and weathered but it was still intack. Max took off his belt and tied it to Ghost's halter so the horse didn't go anywhere. "You bastard.." He shook his head and actually smiled. He started to tug on the horse to lead him back home. Ghost stopped in his tracks and turned his head and whinnied. Max didn't know why. "Wait... where's Viv's mare?" he said outloud and then looked where Ghost was whinnying to...
