Vivienne Shaymen watched her son happily as she fed him. Louie Jr. was about a week old now and it was still a bit strange for Viv. The thought of her being a mother that is. She was doing better than most new mothers probably would have been doing. After all, she was a Valora, they bounced back.
She was starting to look pretty good though thanks to plenty of exercise. Well, she hadn't gained too much weight in the first place and used lotions and stuf to prevent stretch marks during her pregnancy. So she hadn't looked bad in the first place, but still. At least now she wasn't complaining about being fat.
Her eighteenth birthday would be coming up in a week as well and she had to admit she had never expected to be married let alone a mother before she was eighteen. But hey, she loved her husband and son and wasn't about to change that.
It was later on in the afternoon and the sun would be setting soon. It was snowing lightly outside and Viv was bottle feeding the baby as she waited for Lou to come home. She had pretty much kicked Andy out for a little while, not that he really minded. Lou would be home in a few minutes, so it was rather unnecessary to call Jaxon or anyone else to come over for a little bit.
Viv was wearing a pair of dark jeans and a white blouse that had a colorful splatter design on the front. It had no sleaves and instead had a string that tied around her neck. It was better suited for summer months, but she didn't care, it was kinda sexy and complimented her body. She wasn't wearing shoes and her hair was down and straight. Her nails and toe nails were painted a nice purple.
The baby had on just a pair of footie pajamas that were blue with little puppies on them. She had him wrapped in green baby blanket too. After all, she may not have cared too much if she was cold, but she wouldn't let her baby go cold. She had music playing in the living room as she rad it helped to stimulate a baby's hearing something or other. Well, that and she just like Linkin Park which she had playing. She kept it at a reasonable volume for the baby's sake.
She was sitting on the couch with him, her legs up and in a pretzel style as she held the baby and his bottle. His hazel eyes looked right back at her hazel eyes. His senses were a bit sharper then a normal baby's thanks to his inherited wolf senses from Louis. Every once in a while his eyes would change from hazel to gold or silver, depending on his feelings. Sometimes when he cried the tips of his fingers would spark silver electricity, but just a little as he was much too small to produce an actuall current.
Everytime Viv even set eyes on her son, she felt as if her heart would melt with happiness. It would melt even more whe she watched both her husband and son together. She and Louis had so far been so far successful in keeping their baby safe and out of harm's way. The Dima had yet to try anything as Eryk had said, but they were still on the lookout. There was no way in hell Viv would let anything get to her family.
Viv sighed and kissed the baby's forehead, smiling lovingly and waiting for Lou. For some reason she couldn't wait to see him. Well, ok, that's how it always was. But for some reason her excitement over seeing him was heightened at the moment.
