A new year and a new line up of young and fresh artists hit the stage in the worldwide tour of 'damn regrets'. The founders of the tour were looking to make a new international festival that travels almost non stop from city to city, country to country for almost a year. There was only one problem though, all those big old famous bands wouldn't tear themselves away from their life of fame and fortune for nearly a year. The only answer was to look for those who wouldn't mind roughing it for a long period of time. These bands however proved to be dedicated to their music, the founders every year would search for the best newcomers about in all different genres. The members were always around the twenty years old mark just moving out of home but this tour was the break they needed. Some of the older bands loved the life so much they came back year after year to play their beloved tour.
This year five brand new bands break onto the stage. Many already have far reaching fan bases reaching out mostly over the internet. These fans come to see them in their home towns and even travel with the tour. Each band of course has their crew, usually close friends to them who are as much in love with their music as the band themselves. Dedicated crew often follow the tour bus and some even ride along with the band sometimes.
There is of course always time to play in between all this work. When the bands aren't on stage they can usually be found mixing making long term friends and enemies who they will usually keep in contact with after this life changing tour. Like anyone these bands always have their drama, dating between members, rivalries coming to the surface. Whilst on stage everything is great, the bands perform to their screaming fans and then go sign a few autographs, everything is perfect. Behind the scenes however it isn't quite the picture perfect 'holiday'. It's hard work, tempers fray and friendships are tested but will this year be the year that falls apart. A few bands aren't happy with the dropped age limit, from twenty the founders took on bands as young as seventeen and eighteen. Will they even survive this long?
We'll just have to wait and see. [/size]
