STORY[/u]
When Laselris's Academy ( as The Academy for the Gifted ) started it out, it was to educate students who seemed to have been skilled physically, mentally or supernaturally further and make them powerful. However, as the years went on, it became a menial contest of the skankiest outfits and one bloodbath after another.
Laselris found the academy in ruins and with the remaining students, he restarted it as what it once was... and what it became mixed together. Though it has some focus in tutoring the students to become more powerful than they probably would have gotten on their own, Laselris is a male and designs the uniforms to be slightly revealing but not completely.
The school, frankly, is a sorry excuse for a tournament. Students are pitched into battles and teachers grade and students cheer each other on. And every student has at least one ability, be it a gift with weapons or a gift with controlling substances.
Now this is the fifth class of Laselris's Academy and teachers are edgy, for there is a foreboding of a different type of tournament altogether, in which one of the students will become too powerful and unleash his or her power... and kill all in sight.
THE ACADEMY[/u]
There are only 3 years, 10, 11, 12 which causes students to be referred to as first years, second years, or third years. The academy is very vast and takes up as much space as a university campus. For the most part, the academy is made up of different battlegrounds for practices. In their first year, students are to battle in their main area of expertise, so they are pretty much in control, as they go on to their second year, they will be forced to explore and then find their hardest areas and as they do, their third year will be to stay in those areas until they overcome them and become experts.
The dorms are spacious for the most part. About 15 x 15, they can hold up to 3 people, currently there are 4 floors and 4 dorms on each floor. The teachers have two dorms on the first floor, the girls have the second floor, while the boys have the third. The fourth floor is said to be in bad shape and haunted, so there are co-ed dorms there, but because of its condition, it discourages the students from sharing a dorm.
